Good To Know

Paris charges a city tax on hotel stays, and for a 3-star classified hotel like this one it is €5.53 per adult per night. It is collected at the stay rather than at booking, and only adults pay it, since minors are exempt. Check-in runs from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:00 AM, so plan arrival within those hours or contact the hotel about late arrival. Foreign guests, meaning anyone who is not French, must fill in and sign an individual police form at check-in; a host may refuse the booking if a guest refuses to sign. Whether a passport must be shown is not stated by the official page, so bring identification and expect to complete the form at the desk.
