Good To Know

Paris charges a city tax on top of the room rate. For this property's category, a hostel in the one-star collective row, the tax is €2.60 per adult per night. It is paid at the stay, not at booking, and only adults pay it; minors are exempt. Check-in runs from 15:00 to midnight, and check-out details are on the booking page. There is a rule that catches some foreign guests out: non-French visitors must fill in and sign an individual police form, the fiche individuelle de police, at check-in. The host can refuse the booking if a guest declines to sign. The official page does not state whether a passport must be shown, so bring your documents and expect to complete the form on arrival.
